Through my 30 years of experience in both further education (four years in two colleges) and higher education (26 years in six universities), I have experience of the management and leadership of both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. This has included the development, delivery and leadership of a postgraduate work-based learning programme, and undergraduate programme of Physical Trainig Instructors (PTIs) within the Royal Air Force, and the development of a Bachelor's degree in PE and Outdoor Education.
I have lecturing experience in the fields of Physical education, School Sport and Sports Studies. In addition, I have taught modules within programmes covering work-relaed learning, as well as work-based learning.
As the Head of Student Experience at Hartpury University I have been involved in a range of projects and initiatives linked to student induction, academioc personal tutoring, student engagement and attendance, and interaction with the 'student voice'. I also oversee the Student Advisor service within the university.
